Holly Mead began playing piano and composing her own songs at the age of seven and never stopped. She holds a BA in jazz studies from DePaul University and has toured internationally, both as a solo artist and with her band. Currently, she composes music for a wide range of projects and maintains a teaching studio in the Bay Area. Her compositions, performances, and presentations have been featured at the San Francisco International Film Festival, the Bay Area International Children's Film Festival, the Morris Graves Museum of Art, Pixar Animation Studios, and with Pop Up Magazine, and Awesöme Orchestra Collective. When she isn’t tinkling the ivories, she can be found with her nose in a book, sharing delicious meals with her friends, and hiking in the Oakland hills.
